- The no obligation trial period what's the catch?

There's no catch and the trial is simple. You'll begin with a 14 day no-obligation trial during which time you'll be sent qualified leads, click throughs to your website and emails from potential buyers of your products or services. If you don't want to continue with the service beyond the trial you just need to let us know by email before the trial ends, otherwise we'll assume you're happy to remain and you'll become an ongoing client under our usual terms.
- What are the criteria for a qualified lead?

The Top10 Business Index team call and qualify all leads before passing them on to our Suppliers. A qualified lead means there's a person or company with a genuine requirement for work in the field of expertise represented by the index.
- How do I receive the leads?

You'll receive notification of all leads by email, but you'll also have the option to login to your account to view all leads that have arrived for you since you began advertising. Your online account also shows details of all click throughs and emails relating to your company, as well as the associated billing.
- Are emails or click-throughs qualified?

Emails and click throughs are qualified by virtue of the fact that our target audience are people who have an interest in buying services or products that are provided by suppliers in the index. We focus all our marketing to ensure we attract a highly appropriate and targeted audience.
- What stops someone repeatedly clicking through to my site giving me a large bill?

We only charge our suppliers for unique and valuable click throughs each day. This means that should a visitor click through to your website more than a single time in a 24 hour period, you'll only be charged a single time.
- How will I know that the leads will be relevant to my business?

We'll only pass on leads that are relevant to the index in which you are advertising. Having said this, not all leads will be directly relevant to your business (you may specialise in a particular area), and this has been reflected in the low price per lead. We expect that you will be interested in a proportion of the leads that come through what that proportion is will depend on the range of services your company offers.
- Will I know who I am competing with on a lead?

You won't know specifically which other suppliers will be competing with you for a particular lead, although you can see who else is on your index and you might guess at which companies are likely to be competing. Within each index there will be some companies who specialise in one area and other companies who specialise in another so the chances are that you won't be competing with 9 other companies for every lead.
- How and when do I pay for the service?

At the start of each month we will send you an invoice for the service you have received during the previous month. Service includes leads and click throughs. Our accepted methods of payment are by Credit/Debit Card or Direct Debit.
- What happens if we win some work from a lead?

Then fair play to you! We don't expect to take any fee in respect of work that you win from the leads we provide. Once we've given you the leads, the rest is up to you.
- What determines the order in which the advertisers appear on the index?

Advertisers are ordered according to how fully they have filled out their adverts. This means that a company who has included extra services offered, used terms relevant to the index in their company profile, input all three required testimonials and added at least one case-study, complete with images and an active link to a website will score far higher than a company who have simply put in a generic blurb and no testimonials. The higher your score, the higher your position on the index will be.
- Can I advertise in more than one region?

We do allow companies to advertise in more than one region (where applicable) and on more than one index, but only if they are genuinely able to serve clients in the regions and services in question. We also try to restrict the number of remote companies to ensure that each region has a good representation of companies locally based within that region.
